McLaren MP4/2 World Champion 1984 Signed by Niki Lauda

Arriving next week to TSM-Model is the 1/43 Signature edition McLaren MP4/2 signed by Niki Lauda.

The McLaren MP4/2 was first used in the 1983 Dutch Grand Prix at the insistence of one of the best drivers at the time, veteran Niki Lauda. In the 1983 season in South Africa, Lauda proved the car was competitive, by running at the front of the field and challenging for the lead of the race. In 1984 Lauda gave technical feedback on the car and the engine, which pushed the car's development far further than the other teams. In the end of the 1984 season Lauda won just by half a point and this remains the closest finish to a championship in Formula One history.

With assistance from Mr. Lauda, we produced this collection centerpiece by having him personally hand sign each plate on the base of each model. This very limited 1/43 scale resin model is sure to be a conversation starter.
