McLaren MP4/2 World Champion 1984 Signed by Niki Lauda

Arriving next week to TSM-Model is the 1/43 Signature edition McLaren MP4/2 signed by Niki Lauda.

The McLaren MP4/2 was first used in the 1983 Dutch Grand Prix at the insistence of one of the best drivers at the time, veteran Niki Lauda. In the 1983 season in South Africa, Lauda proved the car was competitive, by running at the front of the field and challenging for the lead of the race. In 1984 Lauda gave technical feedback on the car and the engine, which pushed the car's development far further than the other teams. In the end of the 1984 season Lauda won just by half a point and this remains the closest finish to a championship in Formula One history.

With assistance from Mr. Lauda, we produced this collection centerpiece by having him personally hand sign each plate on the base of each model. This very limited 1/43 scale resin model is sure to be a conversation starter.

1/18 2003 Bentley Speed 8 #7

Arriving new to TSM-Model this week is our recently released Bentley Speed 8 resin model in 1/18.

In 2001 after a 68 year absence, Bentley would debut the Bentley EXP speed 8 at the 24 hours of Le Mans race, marking their first entry at Le Mans since 1933. Bentley successfully took the checkered flag in 2003 at Le Mans race with its twin only two laps behind.

TSM-Model has worked very closely with Bentley during the development with the goal of producing the most accurate model of this car possible. From precise measurements of the body curvature to matching colors using paint chips from the real car, this model is a fantastic representation of the winning car and its legacy.

Additional photos of this model are available here.
