It has been in interesting and challenging year and in many ways with the state of the world economy it has become a little more difficult to justify the purchase of a premium quality model. For hundreds of years Germany has been world renowned for their toy companies.  Toy making is held as an art form there, and while these traditions have spread throughout Europe it is not very difficult to trace their origins back to Germany.

Our 1965 Rolls-Royce Phantom V “J. Lennon” model was recently selected by the readers of German model car magazine “Modellfahrzeug” as the winner of the 2011 Best Model award in the 1:43 classic car category.  We were extremely humbled and grateful to have received such a prestigious award as they are the leading hobby publication in Germany and have a reputation for their passion for models and commitment to their readers.

We at TrueScale Miniatures would like to thank all of our fans who voted for us and made this award possible.  As we move into 2012 and beyond we will continue to strive for excellence in every model that we produce.

We were fortunate enough to be an exhibitor at the Porsche Rennsport IV event this past weekend at Laguna Seca Raceway.  It was a fantastic event for us, and we were very fortunate to see the familiar faces of many collectors that stopped by to see our newest Porsche models on display, including the very exciting Porsche 936/77 Le Mans winner!

We're already planning something bigger and better for next year's Motorsport Reunion in August, so we hope to see you there!

The 2011 Monterey Motorsports Reunion event was a great success for us, and we were proud to show off samples of many of our upcoming releases such as the 1/18 Porsche 936/77 Le Mans Winner!

It was great to see so many of our fans at this event, and we're already looking forward to attending the Porsche Rennsport Reunion IV in mid October.

Our new site is now live with many new features.  This upgrade was many months in the making and we appreciate your patience as we completely rebuilt our website.

We are nearly one month away from the 2011 Monterey Motorsports Reunion that we attend every year in Northern California.  We are very excited to attend this great racing event and hope to see you there!
